JEFFERSONVILLE, IN – This September, Warriors Fore Freedom, a non-profit organization based in both Kentucky and Indiana, will host their annual Pro-Am golf tournament to raise funds to benefit fallen and wounded veterans and their families.
The Warriors Fore Freedom Pro-Am golf tournament will take place on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Elk Run Golf Club located at 1820 Charlestown Pike in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Open to the public and club members alike, the tournament will be a shamble format with 5 person teams (4 amateurs and 1 PGA professional.) On-site registration will begin at 10:30 am, followed by a shotgun start at 12:00 pm. A catered dinner and award ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm, featuring a patriotic presentation honoring our veterans and active duty service members.
The entry fee for a single player costs $250; each registration includes golf with a PGA Professional, catered steak dinner with spouse, on-course drinks, and a gift package from the Titleist/FootJoy Mobile Pro Shop.
The Warriors Fore Freedom golf tournament is held in honor of the life, accomplishments, and memory of Major Robert Hacker, a Kentucky National Guardsman who died from injuries he sustained while on active duty in Ecuador in 1998. USA Cares has been named one of the beneficiaries of the tournament, with proceeds going towards USA Cares’ veteran, active duty and military family assistance programs.
