LOUISVILLE, KY – November 6, 2017 – USA Cares, the national nonprofit organization that provides immediate assistance to military families in crisis, is excited to announce that the organization has relocated their corporate headquarters to support the growing scope of their operations.
USA Cares’ new office space is located at 11760 Commonwealth Drive, in Louisville, Kentucky. The move was made effective on November 2, 2017, with assistance operations resuming immediately. The organization plans to have a community open house in the first quarter of 2018.
The announcement from Hank Patton, Executive Director of USA Cares, was discussed with the city of Radcliff earlier this month. “It is with mixed emotions that USA Cares is leaving Radcliff after many years in this community. Many of us will continue to call Radcliff home, as we commute back and forth from Louisville,” said Patton. “One on hand, we are saddened to depart from this community as it has been a great friend to our organization; however, on the other hand, we’re excited about this next chapter as we expand our operations to a larger donor base.”
The new facility, located in Louisville’s Jeffersontown district, was offered to USA Cares from a close friend of the organization. Patton cited that the relocation was initiated at the request of USA Cares’ National Board of Directors, four of whom are based in the Louisville area, as well as several large corporate supporters of the organization.
“We are grateful for the many years of support that the City of Radcliff, Fort Knox and Hardin County has provided to our organization,” said Bill Roby, Board Chairman of USA Cares. “We look forward to our continued friendship with the community.”
