Come join in on the inaugural season of the Earn Your Stripes Racing Series. The series will incorporate three great events that support the local military community, but are enjoyed by runners of all types and abilities.

The Run for the Red 5/10k on Ft. Knox will kick off the series in May, followed by the Heroes Run 5k/10k on July 4th, and culminating with the first and only half marathon in Hardin County, the Run for Life Mini/10k/5k.

Bronze Division:

· Run for the Red 5k

Series Award Structure

The first 300 entrants in the racing series will earn a custom participant’s series medal to be awarded at the concluding race of the series.

 

Member Races

Run for the Red

Hosted entirely on Ft. Knox, the race starts on Maxwell St. behind the Commissary and finishes at the same location. A health and fitness fair is held in conjunction with this race and will feature booths manned by a great variety of health and fitness related business and agencies.

Heroes Run 5k/10k

The course is situated in the beautiful Freeman Lake Park in Elizabethtown, KY. The run promises to be challenging for experienced runners, and welcoming to first-timers and walkers. Runners receive medals and performance t-shirts.

Run for Life 5k/10k/Mini

Starts and finishes at North Hardin High School. Plenty of water stops and entertaining fans along the route. Runners receive medals and performance t-shirts.

While we hope you will join us for the launch of the Earn Your Stripes Racing Series and compete in all three member races, you are still able to sign up for any of the races on an individual basis.

Results & Age Groups

All three Series member races will be posting both Overall Results and Military Results. The age group awards in each race are based on the Overall Results and will use the following age groups for both male and female:

· 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over.
