Operation Brave Boxer:
The Mission of Operation Brave Boxer is to provide clean undergarments, hygiene items, phone cards and postage to the Service members who arrive at Military Medical facilities.
Service members who are medivac to Medical Facilities consistently arrive in hospital gowns or with their clothing cut away from them to treat their injuries.
Some do not have their first visitor for days, weeks and some single Service members have no family to run errands for them.
Providing them with clean undergarments, hygiene items and a phone card to call home lets them know that someone was thinking about them, before they even arrived.
Your mission if you choose to accept it:
1. Collect some/all of the following: Boxer shorts, undershirts, hygiene items, toiletries, phone cards, postage stamps, stationary, magazines, puzzle books. (remember Service members are male and female)
2. Have your group or organization to prepare hand written notes, cards etc. and enclose in the package. (Do Not seal the envelops, hospitals will not accept sealed cards)
3. If you need a tax receipt please submit a receipt/value of items donated
4. Send it to:USA Cares, Inc.
