housingLogo

USA Cares now offers a course designed to provide loan officers, realtors and housing professionals with a clear understanding of how to work with military borrowers—whether they’re using a VA loan or some other type of financing. The USA Cares Certified Military Housing Specialist course provides the military borrower community certification, giving them the tools and knowledge they need to deliver the skilled service our military borrowers expect and deserve.

The course is  available online and self paced. There is a $25 registration fee (which is used to fund our Housing Assistance Program). It explains military language, rank and compensation system. In addition, it outlines what happens when a service member is injured, and explains how their pay will continue during hospitalization and treatment. Upon successful completion of the course, participants are certified and awarded their certificate of completion. This mark of excellence is becoming a sought-after sign to military borrowers: the promise they will receive the expert service and care they deserve

Kentucky Neighborhood Bank was first to participate in the course.
