Florida Chapter USA Cares
USA Cares Volunteers boasts approximately 60 members and meet each month on the second Friday at Laurel Manor Recreation Center at 9:00 AM. They work to hold fundraising events benefiting USA Cares throughout the year while creating awareness of the USA Cares mission. Everyone willing to donate some time is invited to attend. Here we grow again…
2014 has been a year of growth for the Florida Chapter. Presently, the chapter is headquartered in Jacksonville with branches in Northwest Florida (Pensacola), Central Florida (Altamonte Springs), and The Villages. The chapter has been raising awareness and much needed funds to support our Florida families and has been ranked as the sixth largest state in need of assistance. With the addition of these branches in Florida, we hope to gain more support and, most importantly, offer a hand up to each family in need. If you are interested in volunteering for or leading a branch in your city, please contact Jamie at Jamie@usacares.org.
Jacksonville is the largest city in Florida and also home to a major US Navy Base: Naval Station Mayport. This branch serves as the headquarters for the state chapter and is comprised of a very diverse group of individuals, each bringing experience from many different professions and opportunities for community involvement. If you are interested in volunteering in the Jacksonville area, please contact:
Bridget Hart firstname.lastname@example.org
Art Jones email@example.com
Northwest Florida Branch:
Home to the Blue Angels, the Northwest Branch is centered in Pensacola. This group consists of community-oriented individuals, many of which are Veterans themselves. This group knows the hardships that our men and women are facing…some firsthand. They push hard, knowing their efforts will make a difference in the lives of those in need. They are proud to give their time to the USA Cares mission and work hard to involve the surrounding community. To get involved, please contact:
Keith Furrow firstname.lastname@example.org
Don Copeland email@example.com
Central Florida Branch:
Altamonte Springs is the hub for the Central Florida Branch. Being one of the newest additions to the Florida Chapter, they are working hard to grow the volunteer base. The group has been focused on programs such as the USA Cares Military Housing Education Course which educates business professionals on how to work effectively with military families. If you are interested in volunteering in the area or signing up for the education program, please contact:
Aaron Mighty firstname.lastname@example.org
JoAnn Bonilla at email@example.com
The Florida Chapter was founded upon what is perhaps our strongest group of leaders and volunteers, located in The Villages. From concerts to dinners, this branch has successfully paved the way for other volunteer groups. Not only did The Villages jumpstart the state of Florida, they were also the very first chapter of USA Cares, igniting our efforts to place”boots on the ground” in communities nationwide. We offer our most sincere gratitude to this group of individuals and their dedication to our nation’s heroes. For more information or to get involved, please contact:

After the 30 days we will get %5 for the next year. This needs to be promoted ASAP!!!!!!
