Welcome to the Missouri/Southern Illinois Chapter!
Our chapter provides support for the entire St Louis Metropolitan Region. Our goal is to build a strong volunteer base dedicated to spreading awareness about USA Cares and raise funds for the USACares Mission through fun, creative, and engaging opportunities throughout the communities. Our Chapter is building a dedicated volunteer base throughout our Region. We welcome participation from all who share our values and vision and are committed to supporting our active duty military, Veterans and their Families—through the unique mission of USA Cares nationwide. If you would like to start a branch in your town, join an existing branch, or just give one hour to this cause please let me know today at the email or phone number below. If now is not the time for you to join us, please contact me to learn about other opportunities to support USA Cares’ mission. Missouri/Southern Illinois have numerous military installations and bases:
. Fort Leonard Wood is a large Army training post located in the heart of the Ozark region in the state of Missouri.
. Whiteman Air Force Base is located in Knob Knoster, Missouri which is approximately 60 miles southeast of Kansas City, Missouri in rural Johnson County. The base is home to 3,800 active duty military and 5,000 family members. The base employs 902 civilian workers. . Marine Corps Mobilization Command is the general and most important branch operated by the United States Marine Corps Reserves. The installation is relatively new in the armed military. The headquarters of the command is located in Kansas City, Missouri.
. Scott AFB is one of the multiple US military bases operated by the Air Force. It is located in southern Illinois, close to Belleville. Our communities are huge supporters of our military and understand the challenges they face alongside their families. Please contact us at 314-484-1094, if you are interested in getting involved with a local organization, devoted to serving those who have served us.
